Go Green Extravaganza

The Cornhill in Ipswich was transformed into a green oasis, on Sunday 30th March when the first ever Go Green Extravaganza took place.
Local businesses, charities and other organisations gathered together to showcase green products, services and to give advice on how small changes can make a big difference to the environment. As well as informative and fun stands, free samples were given out and a range of activities took place at the environmentally friendly day.
Children were able to take part in free green workshops, that showed them how to reuse household items that would normally have been thrown away to make kites, windmills, puppets and sun catchers. Live entertainment kept families of all ages amused while educating them on how they can do their bit for the environment.
