Toolbox Marketing Trend Alert goes global
When our PR team started compiling a weekly summary of retail news, marketing tidbits,
fashion trends and anything else that caught our combined fancies, we never dreamt
that people outside our office might appreciate receiving the same info.
However, an enthusiastic response following a tentative dispatch to one or two contacts,
has meant that the Toolbox Trend Alert is now read by at least 500 people each week!
It’s been forwarded-on all over the shop, by friends, bosses and eager-to-impress
ambitious types.
It has also, as an aside, led to countless new introductions for us. Other than
our now having to keep a close eye on our language, we’ve no plans to change what
is clearly a winning format – and are reminded all over again, how successful marketing
is much more about interaction than simple delivery… much more ‘give’ than ‘take’.
