Conducted PR for a product launch – which went on to sell out
within six months
In October 2007 a new concept in children’s books was launched – Make, Bake and Celebrate 2008 with Polly and Jago. It brings together a huge array of historical facts, remarkable legends, delicious, yet simple, recipes and exciting and easily achievable craft projects in one easy-to-use compendium. The book was sold directly through the publisher and never hit the shelves.
Toolbox Marketing’s brief was to create awareness of the book which would lead to purchase.
Toolbox Marketing created an integrated and successful PR campaign including targeted consumer exhibitions, national dailys, children’s glossies, regional glossies and general comment on the importance of traditional families.
The book sold out within 6 months.
