Good marketing makes a product or place exciting – creates a buzz and gives it freshness and oomph.
That can be hard when the creative brains behind the campaigns might be feeling a bit busy, a bit jaded after 12 months of recessionary pressure and just a little bit out of sorts with the onset of winter.
Toolbox Marketing has – inadvertently - come up with a great answer to snippets of creative malaise … the Car Masutra!
The Car Masutra brand ('for the man who loves his car') is one of many Toolbox Marketing collaborations, and is busy occupying the studio who are branding, designing and photographing bottles of Flash Git bath soak or Petrol Head shampoo; the PR team who are talking to everybody who's anybody about Mary Bird, the brand's creator and now Toolbox Marketing cohort; and strategists who are overseeing the development of new products and overall brand marketing.
"It's great to bring something different to the office" says Group MD Michelle Buxton. "Variety is the spice of life and all that – and getting stuck into the Car Masutra has given everyone a bit of a pep. Retail has obviously not been a barrel of laughs recently and it's good to remind ourselves that marketing is a fun area in which to work".
Giggles are good in the workplace – and they don't half revive those creative juices!
